There is no denying that Rep. Mari Leavitt has been a powerhouse legislator for Pierce County families. A mom, small business owner, education and PTSA leader, daughter of a military family, college administrator, and former Deputy Director of Pierce County Human Services, Rep. Leavitt brings an incredible breadth of experiences and perspectives with her to Olympia -- and it shows.

Rep. Leavitt has been a champion for working families, seniors, those facing homelessness, and our servicemembers and military families.


She has introduced and fought for bills to reform the embattled Western State Hospital, overhaul housing practices to increase stability, and reduce red tape so more veterans and military families can pursue their dreams when they come home.
