Jessica Forsythe has spent her career bringing people together to strengthen communities and build a better future for Washington families.
A union member, nonprofit leader, and Redmond City Councilmember, Jessica has dedicated her public service to expanding opportunity, increasing civic participation, and ensuring government works for the people it serves. When Trump got elected in 2016, Jessica decided it was time to step up and do more for the community. Jessica is the Executive Director of Emerge Washington, where she trains and supports women and non-binary leaders running for office.
Since her election to the Redmond City Council, Jessica has helped guide the city through historic challenges while advancing solutions on housing, transportation, public safety, environmental sustainability, and economic development. She has managed complex budgets, collaborated across jurisdictions, and championed policies that deliver results for residents.
